Albany -- Step aside ladies, the shopping mall is the place for men today. Great weather gave some fathers and sons a chance to spend guy time together at Albany Mall this Father's Day.

The Big Boys Big Toys display was just in time for Father's day. The three-day event featured jeeps, lawnmowers, boats and other toys men like to play with. Some fathers and sons spending the day together decided to stop by.

"We just walked up, so we're going to walk around together and enjoy each others company," said father Mike Kendrick.

President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed the 3rd Sunday in June as Father's day back in 1966.The day was signed into law by Nixon in 1972.
