A different kind of three-peat at Albany Amateur

Albany-  Not one, not two but three players repeated as champions at the Albany Amateur Championship.

Former Darton College player Brandon Anthony shot 75 on the Flint River Golf Course in Sunday's final round to win the championship flight for a second straight year.

Dr. Dan Rhoads also had a 75 and his 225 wins the Senior Championship Flight wire to wire.

Leesburg's Abby Fitzgerald had a tougher road to win her second consecutive Women's Championship Flight.

The future Georgia State player overcame a first round 91 and here 80 on Sunday gave her a winning score of 246.

Bill Butler won the first flight, Tholen Edwards took first in the second flight, third flight winner is Glenn Singfield and Greg Elder wins the fourth flight.

John Cathey wins the senior division first flight, Glenda Eubanks wins the women's first flight and Vicki Croft wins the women's second flight.
