Albany - Georgia voters will get to see the Democratic gubernatorial candidates debate the issues.
In their first meeting, Mark Taylor and Cathy Cox will square off at the Albany Municipal Auditorium July 12 th at 7:00 PM. Democrat Mac McCarley will also participate.
The debate, sponsored by WALB-TV, will be broadcast on 14 television stations in Georgia.
Five network affiliates and all nine of Georgia Public Television's stations will carry the debate.
WALB News 10 Anchor Dawn Hobby will serve as moderator. The candidates will answer questions from a panel of journalists.
The event is open to the public, with doors opening at 6:00 PM.
