Albany -- Firefighters blame an arsonist for a fire that destroyed a building at the Albany Flea Market.

About 3 A-M a driver on the Liberty Bypass spotted flames shooting out of this building on North Washington Street. Firefighters say it was fully involved when they arrived.

The building was the Flea Market headquarters and housed offices and merchandise for several merchants. Investigators say someone clearly set the blaze on purpose.

Albany Fire Department Deputy Chief David Eddins said "We found multiple points of origin that lead us to believe that it is going to turn into be an arson. We have two separate areas that are involved in the fire, that would not be connected with each other."

No arrests have been made in the arson. Firefighters estimated the damage at $200,000.
