Hawkinsville -- A South Georgia woman escaped from jail and is on the run.
Nineteen-year-old Julia Dawn Dent, an inmate a the Pulaski County Jail in Hawkinsville, escaped through a back door during a visit to a doctor's office Monday.
She is from Worth County, and investigators say she may be in this area.
Dent was in jail for probation violation.
In addition to the theft and forgery charges in Pulaski County, Dent faces forgery charges in Lee and Dougherty counties.
Officials are working to clear an overturned semi-truck. The scene is near the intersection of South Mock Road and Highway 133.
