Cairo-  Whether to re-organize three elementary schools will be the question before the Grady County School Board Tuesday night.

Superintendent Steven Wooten says the demographics have shifted in three schools that serve 75 percent of Grady County. So he's recommending Northside, Eastside, and Southside Elementary schools be reorganized. Some parents have expressed concern.

"Most of the concern right now is a fear about what's going to happen and we can't look in a crystal ball at the future and see what's going to happen, but we're convinced after everything we've looked at this is the best thing for the students in Grady County," said Steven Wooten, Grady County Schools Superintendent.

The recommendation will make Eastside pre-Kindergarten through second grade, Southside would become third through fifth, and Northside would be administration and pre-K.
