K-Mart, Wal-Mart dog food recalled

The Simmons Pet Food Company voluntarily recalled the dog food after finding random flaking of the inside coating of the cans.

According to the department, the recalled food includes all 22-ounce canned pet food with "use by" dates between march 16th, 2008, and June 6th, 2008.

The products were distributed through K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and Allied Foods.

Consumers who bought the dog food may return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
