Bainbridge-  Bainbridge College will have its first satellite campus July first.

Monday, Bainbridge College and Albany Technical College signed an agreement that will transfer Albany Tech's Early County Center in Blakely to Bainbridge College. The agreement will benefit students.

"The difference with our being in Blakely as opposed to Albany Tech is that we will offer general education programs, that would lead to a variety of bachelor's degrees that Albany Tech does not offer," said Dr. Tom Wilkerson, Bainbridge College President.

July first, all 200 Albany Tech students and employees will be considered a part of Bainbridge College, Blakely Site.

The property will be transferred to Bainbridge College in 2007 at no cost. As a result, the college will also be able to offer an Associate Degree in Forest Technology.
