Tifton - Police are on the lookout for a gunman who robbed a bank.
The man is caught on bank surveillance video. He was not trying to disguise his appearance and police believe someone will recognize his picture.
He pulled a gun no a teller at BB&T Bank on Commerce Way yesterday afternoon.
He got away with $3,000.00 cash.
"The last bank robbery we've had here, we've been pretty lucky. It was a year ago last month and that person is in jail as well, been linked to a string of robberies up and down the eastern sea board and along Interstate 10," says Tifton Police Investigator Ricky Day.
The man was wearing a blue and white striped shirt with a blue collar, a navy blue hat and sunglasses.
He's white, between 22 and 30 years old with sandy brown hair.
He has a stocky build and is between 5'9 and 5'11.
