"It's just good to sit around and talk. Have a hot dog and hit a few golf balls. I was happy with the tee shot I hit this morning. It always spells a good year for us when I hit a good shot."
When asked what his score for the round was, White laughed and replied, "No, no, no. I just hit the opening tee shot, that's all."
"It went straight," he added, with a smile.
The Golden Rams will begin their quest for their fourth-straight conference title when they open their season August 26th on the road at North Carolina Central.
