Albany -- A brazen thief snatched a shopper's purse from her grocery cart.

Here's what makes it unusual -- the crook got away with checks worth thousands of dollars and it was all caught on camera.

Police describe her as a white woman in her early 20's with blonde hair.

The victim had two checks for a total of $15,000 in the purse.

If you recognize the woman, Albany Police want you to call them at 229-431-2100 or 438-3992.
