Albany -- It was adopt-a-dog day at Tractor Supply in Albany.   These furry friends from Terrell County Humane Society are looking for loving homes.

The organization has a no-kill policy and is dedicated to finding these animals homes. The humane society holds the event in Albany so more people get the chance to see the dogs.

"They really need homes, we are a foster organization, we can only take in a certain number of animals, we are no kill, so we try to find them homes so we can take in more animals that need our help," said Abby Slattery.

A small adoption fee is required for all the animals, but they are all up to date on shots. Up to 40 dogs and 60 cats need homes.
