Valdosta -- When workers hired to clean an abandoned mobile home, they were not prepared for the shocking discovery they would find inside.

The six member crew uncovered a methamphetamine lab that police officials say has been in use since March.

Lt. Rob Picciotti of the Lowndes County Special Operations Division was immediately called to the scene.  "It was a boxed up lab in a rubbermaid container. It was a red phosphorus lab There was iodine left behind. There was meth oil acetone and muriatc acid, some tubing..."

Police were able to apprehend 31-year-old Billy Joe McCleand from fingerprints left on the labs contents. Two other suspects are expected to be arrested in the next few days.
