Sylvester -- A Worth County man is charged with child endangerment and DUI following an accident last Friday in Sylvester.

Dennis Gordy was driving a minivan that hit a Mustang, knocking it into another vehicle. Three teenagers in the mustang are still hospitalized. Gordy's family was with him at the time. He is charged with three counts of child endangement, seat belt violation, open container, driving without insurance and failure to yield the right of way. The DUI charge is pending the outcome a blood-alcohol test.

Dawn Grant, the owner of the minivan Gordy was driving, is charged with permitting him to drive without insurance.

The driver of the Mustang, Andrew Allen, was not seriously injured. His passengers remain at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Corey Cox is in good condition, while Zack Cox and Brooke Plowman are in fair condition.
