Americus - - A Sumter County man and woman are indicted for robbing a man and beating him to death.

35 year old Patricia Ann Brown and 25 year old Frederick Hoston are expected to go to trial this year.

Sheriff's deputies say the two beat and strangled Eugene Clark in January.

Both were arrested a couple days later.

Clark was 47 years old.
