    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Albany - - Dougherty county schools may be out of session, but some Dougherty High School students got together today to make some beautiful music.

The school's chorale performed a concert tonight in honor of students who have graduated. The event packed the New Birth Fellowship Church.

"We're happy to be here. The church has been wonderful. The pastor and the hospitality. They've just been awesome, very professional, top notch," says Director Mark Butler. 

Recently, the choir one 1st place at the National Music Festival. This is the 16th consecutive year the choir has received that award. The choir is invited to perform in Vienna, Austria next year.

The group sang a range of songs reflecting different types of musical styles.
