Thomasville -- The main house at Pebble Hill today unveiled the new look of the "big room," which was closed to the public for about six weeks.

With the new look, tourists are able to get a little closer to some of the furniture and silverware. "Recently we needed to paint, and so we cleared the room of all the furniture sent the rug to be cleaned and repaired and did the painting work that had to be done," said Asst. General Manager Sue White.

Tours are available Tuesdays through Sundays between 10 am and 5 pm.
