Ashburn -- Lady Rebels senior Gabrielle Lawson signing to play basketball for South Georgia Tech today in Turner County.
The Lady Jets going 17 and 14 in just their second season, including a win in the conference tournament, and Lawson says she can be an immediate help.
"I got a little speed," says Lawson. "I hope my speed can help them out playing defense."
Turner County head coach Chris Ray says, "She'll probably play the 2 or the 3 swing guard, putting the ball on the floor. She's got a great outside shot and plays good heads-up defense."
SGTC returns five players from last years team.
