Albany -- Batons were twirling, trumpets were blaring, and the drumline caught the beat today at the Albany Civic Center.

Can I get a drumroll please? It was the first ever drumline and band jamboree. Four bands from across the state battled it out on the Wildcat's field.

Each took the field to show the crowd why they had the beat.

More than 2,000 people filled the Civic Center to watch. All the money raised from the event will be divided between the four bands.
