Albany - One person is killed in a hit and run in Albany and there's a lookout for his killer. The victim was riding a bike near Oglethorpe Boulevard and Cason Street close to midnight Saturday when hit by a truck that kept going. The victim died.

Dougherty County Dispatch has issued a BOLO for an older model dark Ford Truck with front end damage to one or both Headlights.

The front desk officer at the Albany Police Department, said an incident report has not been filed and did not know who the responding officer was. She did not know any information about the fatality, including the name of the victim, and said because it's a fatality, the officer has 48 hours to file an incident report.

This is not the only unsolved hit and run in Albany. In December 2004, 57-year old Ginny Crisler was struck while crossing the parking lot in Hunter's Mill shopping center. Her killer still has not been found, but investigators believe the car that struck her was a 1995 to 1999 Chevy Lumina.

Anyone with information on either hit and run should call Albany Police or the District Attorney's Office.
