Albany - - Some other moms in our area spent the day getting a little closer with nature.

Cheehaw Park allowed mothers to enjoy the park at no charge today. We found families teaching their children about the animals and having a little quality time.

One mother says she thinks the family is having more fun than she is.

"The big kids are having the most fun, the grown men not the kids, the men. It's enjoyable, its better than sitting at the house staring at the walls," says Felisha Honeyman.

She says it was nice having her children with her to help her celebrate.
