Albany - - The month of May is National Hospital Week and all week long employees at Phoebe Putney have been celebrating.
The festivities concluded today with a huge outdoor picnic. Employees of the hospital brought their families and enjoyed food and fun. Organizers say it's a reward for some deserving workers.
"We do this because we want to give back to the employees. This is a large hospital and all the employees want to have fun, relax because they work so hard and we want to give them something," says Carolyn White of Phoebe Putney.
This week, employees have participated in trivia games, a talent show, and outdoor sporting events.
