Albany - An HIV positive Albany man will spend the rest of his life in prison from molesting his girlfriend's young daughters. 40 year old Daniel Proctor hung his head and later started crying as the guilty verdicts were read.

Proctor molested the girls for more than two years. They were five and eight years old when the abuse began. Proctor is HIV positive so the girls will have to be tested for the disease once a year for the next ten years.

"The testimony of the little girl, who talked about how he brutally victimized her over two years, I don't think that there was a heart in this courtroom that did not just break when they heard that evidence," said Assistant D.A. Christopher Cohilas.

Proctor was sentenced to life without parole. His girlfriend, Victoria Rudeseal, pleaded guilty to allowing Proctor to molest her children. She testified against Proctor. She'll serve seven years in prison.

The girls are now in foster care.
