Meigs- A friendly card game, turns unfriendly when alcohol is involved in Meigs. Several people were playing cards at this home along Cabin Street when an argument erupted Wednesday night around eight o'clock.

The argument spilled into Cabin Street, that's when the danger began.

"There was some alcohol involved, some of them wouldn't let the issue go, so they kept pursing it, people tried to break them apart, they came back together," said Investigator Pascal Autrey, Thomas Co. Sheriff's Office.

Twenty seven year old Larry Caldwell was stabbed six times. Twenty nine year old Timothy Reese is being held in the Thomas County Jail on one count of aggravated assault. Caldwell remains in Archbold Memorial Hospital.
