Albany - The man accused of molesting his girlfriend's children, knowing he had HIV, testifies on his own behalf. 40-year old Daniel Proctor told jurors that one of the girls he's accused of molesting was mad at him for punishing her and for not allowing her go to a friends party.

Proctor is charged with 17 counts of child sex crimes for molesting the two girls, then six and eight years old, over two years. Prosecutors made Proctor hold up a size 4-Toddler bathing suit he had bought for the eight year old girl and asked if he thought it was appropriate.

The girls' mother pleaded guilty to allowing Proctor to molest the children, and she testified against Proctor. She'll serve seven years in prison.

Closing arguments finished up late Wednesday afternoon. The judge is expected to charge the jury Thursday morning so they can began deliberating the case.
