Thomasville- The child ambassador for this year's Thomasville Walk-A-Thon is drumming up support. Four year old Chandler Fiveash is this year's child ambassador for the March of Dimes. He and his mother were at various schools today raising money and awareness this weekend's walk.

"He weighed one pound, 14ounces, he was 13 and three quarter inches long. He was in the hospital for three months. He's had heart surgery, bleeding in the brain, and eight blood transfusions," said Tracie Fiveash, March of Dimes mother.

Chandler is now a healthy four year old with the help of March of Dimes. The three and three quarter mile walk will be held at Thomas University this Saturday, May 13th. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
