Early County - A South Georgia woman was killed in an early morning wreck, when she lost control of her car. Troopers say 33-year old Marsha Gaines of Newton was driving West on Georgia 216 near the intersection of Shiloh George Lane around 7:40 Wednesday morning, when she drifted off the side of the road and overcorrected.

Her Ford explorer flipped several times, ejecting Gaines, who was not wearing a seatbelt. Gaines struck a tree and died on scene.

Her boyfriend, 40-year old Charles Smith was riding in the passenger seat. He was wearing a seat belt, and only received minor injuries.
