Albany -- Another arrest is made in the burglary and shooting that left an Albany State football player dead.

Twenty-five year old Michael Pleas, also a former ASU football player, was arrested yesterday in Tallahassee, and is charged with armed robbery and burglary.

Police say he and Antonio Atkins, an ASU runningback, broke into a home on West Broad Avenue around one Friday morning. One of the men who live there, Johnathan Young, shot and killed Atkins, but Pleas escaped.

Chief James Younger says the investigation lead detectives to Tallahassee, where Pleas lives now. Police are in the process of extraditing Pleas to Albany.
