Homerville - - A member of the Southern Leadership Christian Council wants to bring social change on our state's capital. Griffin Lotson attended the group’s meeting in Homerville and announced his plans to run for Lt. Governor of Georgia.

 He says he will be the first African American to successfully qualify and run for the state's second top position through the democratic party. He says he's qualified to take the seat because of his involvement serving the public.

“You've got to learn the game to know the game to be able to change the game,"

 Lotson says. Lotson lives in Darrien , Georgia . The primary election takes place on July 18th.
