Albany -- A new outdoor concert series begins this weekend in downtown Albany. Crews began setting up for "Rhythms by the River" this afternoon at Veterans Park Amphitheater.

Music lovers will enjoy sweet sounds from two southern blues rock bands.

"We want to see a good crowd of people come out and have fun of all ages and have a good time enjoying something fun in downtown by the river," said concert organizer Bo Henry.

Ten dollars will get you into the concert Saturday at 8 pm, only five dollars with a Wildcats ticket.

Three more concerts are planned this summer.
