Albany - Albany State softball coach Robert Skinner has landed one of the top high school players in Albany.

Monroe High's Keandrea Kegler signed a scholarship to play for the Lady Rams on Thursday.

 Kegler is a versatile player who not only pitched but played first base and in the outfield at Monroe.

In her senior season, Keandrea Kegler had a .355 batting average and 28 stolen bases and recorded 46 strikeouts on the pitching mound.
