Jonesboro -- Twenty-eight-year-old Demetrist Chantell Potts was found dead in the basement of her Jonesboro home early Saturday. Her hands were tied and her throat had been slashed.

Her five month old son was found uninjured. The woman's fiancee' told police he found her dead.

Demetrist Potts and her twin sister, Cometrist, moved to Atlanta from South Georgia about ten years ago.
