Albany - Albany Firefighters are investigating two cases of arson. Investigators say about six o-clock this morning someone threw a molotov cocktail through the window of a house in the 200 block of South Davis.
Neighbors say the home is vacant, but is used as a crackhouse by vagrants. Investigators say early this morning two men were seen having an argument at the house.
The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were destroyed by fire, and the entire house sustained smoke damage. Firefighters estimate the damage at $20,000.
Meanwhile arson investigators are questioning several juveniles about a fire that burned a vacant mobile home car lot office on South Slappey last evening.
The business is closed, and the lot was empty. Investigators say someone took oil left at the car lot, and spread it inside the mobile home, and set it on fire.
The juveniles being questioned range in age from ten to 15 years old. The mobile home office was gutted by the fire. The damage is estimated at ten thousand dollars.
