Thomasville- The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Mitchell County. Blood and alcohol tests are pending for forty-six year old Juan Lozaro of Newton.
Lozaro crossed the center line of Highway 112 Friday afternoon striking 56 year old Stanley Johnson's 1980 Ford Thunderbird nearly head on. Johnson of Perry was killed. Johnson was wearing a seat belt, Lozaro who was also injured was not. Charges are pending.
