Albany -- Clean up crews around town were making Albany beautiful today picking up trash on area streets for Stash the Trash.

One group with gloves on and bags in hand, current and former members of ASU's Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. The group has been keeping the same two mile stretch of Slappey Boulevard clean for the past 16 years now.

"Albany is a great place and we just want to make sure it stays attractive," said Kappa Alpha Psi alumni Marlon Mitchell.

Today was the Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful's annual Stash the Trash event and several more volunteers were around other parts of town cleaning up.
