Thomasville- Testing will begin next week for a significant number of people who came in contact with a Tuberculosis patient in Thomas County.

A patient at Archbold Memorial Hospital tested positive for TB 47 days into their hospital stay. Anyone who came in contact with the patient has been sent a letter and must be tested.

Testing will be Monday, April 17th and Tuesday April 18th from 7:30 a.m. to 5 o'clock at the Thomas County Health Department. Nurses will inject a small amount of the purified protein derivative under the skin and then patients must return three days later for their results.
