Tallahassee, Fl. - Albany's Alexander Johnson honored by the Florida State coaches for his work this season.
Alexander Johnson was presented with FSU's most improved player award at the team's banquet last week in Tallahassee.
Johnson earning that honor after he doubled his scoring and rebounding averages in his junior season which also earned honorable mention honors in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The fomrer Dougherty High standout won the Dave Cowens Chairman of the Boards award for leading the Seminoles in rebounding and he was also honored for leading FSU with 30 blocked shots.
The improved play of Alexander Johnson is a big reason why the FSU basketball team improved to a 20-win season and made it to the second round of the NIT tournament.
