Thomasville -- Workers at Pebble Hill Plantation are hard at work for the fourth annual Pinewoods Bird Festival.

Wildlife vendors and professional birders will be on hand to provide educational resources and instructions, and kids will be able to have there face painted like a pinewoods bird, and explore many hands-on activities and games.

"The fourth annual Pinewood Bird Festival, it's a wonderful day of field trips and education hands on learning for children you can come out learn about Georgia humming birds butterflies," said Festival Coordinator Whitney White.

The Pinewoods Bird Festival events starts Friday night and ends Saturday.
