Allergy sufferers seek natural relief

April 5, 2006

Albany -- If you're having trouble finding relief from spring allergies you might want to try an all-natural cure.

National Institutes of Health says 36-percent of Americans have used non-conventional alternatives for allergy relief, things like herbal remedies, saline nasal spray, oils or spices.

Nature's Cure owner Jami Jones has seen more customers requesting those products this spring.

"You're not damaging your organs. That is the main thing about natural supplements is that it protects the body without affecting other parts of the body," said Nature's Cure owner Jami Jones.

While the natural treatments may provide some relief from symptoms, they aren't a cure for allergies.
