Thomasville- A tournament at the east coast's second oldest golf course will raise money for a Thomasville adoption agency. Golfers will take the course at nine o'clock Monday morning for Open Door Adoption Agency's second annual golf tournament. Money raised from the event goes to help destitute birth mothers and place children in homes.
"We netted about $12,000 to $13,000 last year and hope to do about the same this year," said Gene Bell, Chairman Golf Committee.
More than 60 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament and there is space still available.To register contact Gene Bell at (229) 221-5890.
