Thomasville gets new C.F.O.

April 5, 2006

Thomasville- After nearly a year without one, Thomasville has a new Chief Financial Officer. Thomasville has been without a C-F-O since last May when the former director resigned. Finding someone suitable for the position was no easy task.

"We've diligently looked to find the right candidate for the job, it's not just a typical city, there's general government and utilities involved so we really had to search for the right candidate," said Steve Sykes, Thomasville City Manager.

The right person is Michael Russell of Thomasville. Russell will assume his new position May eighth.
