Bainbridge- Dry weather across south Georgia prompts concern from local firefighters.

A small, unattended camp fire this afternoon near the boat basin in Bainbridge ignited nearby brush. A passerby saw it and called the fire department. The Bainbridge Fire Department discourages any burning.

"Matter of fact, we have stopped controlled burning throughout the city because of the low humidity and the wind factor with all that we've got now, so yes, this is a real concern," said Chief Dennis Mock, Bainbridge Fire Department.

A Red Flag warning has been issued for all of Thomas County due to the low humidity levels and dry conditions.
