Lowndes County - A Lowndes County man is charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence in a wreck that killed his friend.
Twenty-seven year old Chris Soto of Lake Park was driving a Dodge Caravan on Highway 376 near the Lowndes-Echols County line Saturday morning when he lost control and hit a cement culvert. The vehicle flipped and a passenger, 35-year-old Antonio Espinoza, was ejected and killed.
Soto is charged with driving under the influence, vehicular homicide, open container, and several traffic violations.
