Albany -- This March has been one of the driest on record. If that has you heading for the sprinkler, don't forget that statewide watering restrictions remain in effect.

If your address is an odd number, you're allowed to water your yard on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Even number addresses are only supposed to water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Benny Jones enjoys working in his yard. He says conserving water is important so he abides by the restrictions.

"You have like from 12 o'clock midnight all the way up to 12 o'clock midnight the next day, so you have 24 hours you can water. Three days a week, that's a lot of watering if you need it," said Albany resident Benny Jones.

According the the restrictions no one should water on Fridays. None of this applies to people who use well water.
