Albany - Tuesday, the two schools entered a partnership to allow students to transfer credits from the technical college to the University, limiting the requirements of taking and paying for required courses twice.

Geraldine Edwards says, "I was trying to pursue an education out of the city. By this signing today, I can stay home and continue my education."

Albany State is accepting credit hours in the associate of applied technology for the Applied science in Technology Management program.
