Douglas -- Authorities say the woman who reported being raped by a man in a police uniform lied.

Last week 18-year-old Shellie Bennefield reported she had been raped in Coffee County and a lookout was posted for a man impersonating a police officer.

The GBI now says she made it all up.

Bennefield was arrested and charged with false report of a crime and false statements.
