The rate increased because of seasonal factors, such as the summer job loss among non-contract school workers and temporary layoffs, primarily in manufacturing. There were 60,500 jobs in Albany in June, down by 300, or 0.5 percent, from 60,800 in May. Most of the loss came in state government and the service-related industries.More >>

Donalsonville- Four suspects, accused of tying up and robbing two Harvey's employees, will now be tied up in the legal system. Cesar Cruz, Jose Cruz, Vanesa Grau all of Dothan Alabama, and Bruce Ready of Donalsonville are charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and falsifying statements to the GBI.

The four are accused of robbing the Harvey's on Highway 84 February 11. Investigators say, Ready and Cesar Cruz forced two employees at gunpoint to open the safe and then tied them up. Police say the case remains open and more arrests are expected.

"In connection with this robbery there are more arrests to follow at a later date," said Sgt. Chad Robinson, Donalsonville Police.

A large quantity of money was taken from the Harvey's safe during the robbery. Police will not say whether they recovered the money because the case remains under investigation.
