Albany--With tax season in full swing, more people are filing their taxes electronically, so much so, that it's set a new record.
Tax professional e-filing is up four percent this year. For those who prefer to do it themselves, e-filing is up sixteen percent.
Tax experts say filing on-line is convenient, fast, and saves people a lot of time.
"It goes immediately to the IRS, they process it right away. And if you're getting a refund, you can get it quickly," says tax advisor, Surendra Pandey.
The deadline to file your taxes is right around the corner. You have until April 17th to do so.
