Albany- The Bainbridge High boys track team sprinted their way to the team title at the Smith-Benson Relays Saturday at Hugh Mills Stadium.
The Bearcats won six events with Anthony Riley taking first in three to easily beat Westover in the team standings.
Riley and Mike Brown finished first and second in the boys 100 meter dash.
Riley also won the 200 meter and triple jump.
Bainbridge teammate Joe Bailey won the 400 meter and the Bearcats won the 4x400meter relay and Sean Bouie won the discus.
Lee County's Marc Loman also was a multiple winner with first place finishes in the 800 and 1600 meter runs while Westover's Nick Pierce won the 3200 meter.
The Patriots also won by the 4x100 meter relay.
In hurdles, Brooks County's Kendra Mitchell won the 110 meter and finished second to Cairo's Johnny Marshall in the 300 meter.
In field events, Monroe's Montravious Williams won the high jump and Lee County's Deon Grant took first in the long jump.
Alex Wright of Brooks County took first in the shotput and Jeff Sellers of Cairo won the pole vault.
The Monroe girls won three events but the Lady Tornadoes finish in fourth in the standings.
Kenza Wilson won the 100 and 200 meter dashes and Sekilia Anthony won the 3200 meter run and placed third in the 1600 meter event.
Westover's Kiana Key, the defending state champion in the triple jump, took first in the event and Morgan Segmueller won the pole vault as the Lady Patriots finished in second place behind Stockbridge.
The Lowndes girls were three points behind Westover in third.
The Vikettes won two field events in discus with Krystal Thomas and Taccara Bivins in the high jump.
Lowndes also won the 4x100 relay and Dougherty took first in the 4x200 relay.
Lee County's Yolanda Berryhill, who won the AAAA state shotput title, took first in the event on Saturday and Brittany Skiles won the 800 and 1600 meter runs for the Lady Trojans.
