Douglas--Shortly after 9 PM, a clerk at a Douglas Enmark station at the corner of Madison Avenue and Baker Highway was shot during a robbery.

Police are still on the scene. They say a man wearing a mask walked into the gas station, demanded money, and then shot the cashier.

The robber got away. We don't know the employee's name, but we do know she is at Coffee Regional hospital right now. Police say she is stable.

If you have any information that could help investigators, Douglas police ask that you call them.
